Dear praying Friends & Family,
We had our yearly “Winter Storms” with low temperatures (77F), high winds, and little rain…we actually enjoy this time of year because of the lower temperature & lower humidity. We did not have sunshine for about a month now, but 2 days ago, the LORD gave us a blue sky, no wind, and a temperature around 86F…
There are still COVID restrictions in place, but we are able to work around them. The authorities only enforce the mandate for masks, and the evening 8pm curfew, which does not affect us that much…
The coffee shop in town has little to no traffic and Karen & I have been taken care of the rent the last few months. Also, Lani (the official owner of this livelyhood shop) has been sickly lately and Karen had to help out a lot. We are still praying for the LORD to tell us what to do with the shop, and we feel compelled to keep it going as long as we can…
We are planning another rice distribution, as soon as the rice arrives in town. We ordered 520 pieces of 5kg/11lbs bags, and 600 Gospel tracts. We are planing is to give out the first half asap, and then the rest 2 weeks later. This is because of logistics, and not any COVID restrictions…
Also, Karen was asked if the ladies could meet again for Bible study (praise the LORD!) and we have permission from our Barangy Kapitan (aka village major) to do so! We just received the new study materials & Gospel tracts yesterday! Thank you LORD!
Otherwise, we are longing for a US furlough, but it seems that that will not be possible for a while. On a wonderful note, both of our Philippine Visas were approved and we received our documentation & passports back just yesterday! Praise the LORD!
Also, please continue to pray for the following:
⚑ For many to come to receive the LORD Jesus as their Savior!
⚑ Coffee store in town, a livelihood project, no traffic due to COVID restrictions
⚑ Upcoming rice distribution
⚑ Ladies Bible Study, trying to restart
⚑ Kid’s Bible Verse Memory Club, trying to restart
⚑ The King of Glory Movie – Tagalog Audio – 15 Scenes left to edit
⚑ Continued good health
Thanks for praying with us and for us!
In Him!
Patrick & Karen

” Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgives all yours iniquities; who heals all your diseases; Who redeems your life from destruction; who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies…” – Psalm 103:1-4
